This week at Learning Ladder, we explored Aboriginal culture through a range of creative and hands-on experiences. The children made Aboriginal flags, painted their own didgeridoos, and engaged with Aboriginal-inspired resources that encouraged learning through play and discovery. These activities provided opportunities to learn about the rich traditions, stories, and symbols that are an important part of Australia’s history and culture.
The children also created beautiful birds using feathers and Aboriginal design paper, showcasing their creativity while exploring traditional patterns and artwork. Our Aboriginal sensory trays offered a sensory-rich experience, allowing children to investigate textures, colours, and natural materials. It was a wonderful week of learning, creativity, and cultural appreciation.
