At Learning Ladder Watsonia, we had an exciting visit from the paramedics who shared their knowledge about the many ways they respond to emergencies. The children learned about the different modes of transport used in various situations such as ambulances, helicopters, and airplanes and how each one helps get people the care they need quickly and safely.

The visit included a hands-on demonstration of medical tools like syringes, bandages, stethoscopes, and more. The children also enjoyed listening to a story read by the paramedics and learned the importance of wearing gloves and masks when treating patients. They even got to see how to check someone’s heart rate and blood pressure. It was a fun and educational experience that helped build awareness and appreciation for the incredible work our emergency services do.
