At Learning Ladder, we believe in the importance of connecting our children with different aspects of our community, and upcoming incursions are a key part of this effort. It is important to acknowledge and respect the dedication of various community members who contribute to our society.

One such group deserving of recognition is our local police officers. We deeply appreciate their commitment to keeping our community safe and their willingness to engage with our children in positive ways. At Learning Ladder Wyndham, we had a special visit from our local police officers!

The children were excited to see a real police car up close and even got to hear the loud sirens. The officers showed us pictures of the various vehicles they use and introduced us to the animals they work with, like horses and dogs. Throughout the day, the children engaged in fun activities related to the police incursion.

They enjoyed colouring sheets featuring police themes and participated in discussions about what police officers do to keep our community safe. This experience helped the children learn more about the important role of police officers and how they help protect us every day.
