Learning About Chickens: The Henny Penny Hatching Program at Learning Ladder Cranbourne

The Henny Penny Hatching program offers children a unique opportunity to learn about the life cycle of chickens through real-world, hands-on experiences.

This program allows children to observe the hatching process, fostering their understanding of nature and biology. By interacting with the animals, children also develop important social and nurturing skills.

At Learning Ladder Cranbourne, the children have been actively engaged in learning about the life cycle of chickens. As part of their activities, they participated in a group craft project to make a chicken coop. Using a cardboard box for the coop, the children colored in their chickens and placed them inside.
