This week at Learning Ladder Epping, our children had an exciting visit from the local firefighters and their fire truck. The children were thrilled to explore the truck up close, learn about the important role firefighters play in our community, and see the flashing lights and hear the sirens in action.
The firefighters shared valuable fire safety information and answered the children’s questions, helping them understand how to stay safe in an emergency. One of the highlights of the day was having the opportunity to use the fire hose and experience a small part of what firefighters do every day. It was a fun, engaging, and educational experience that the children will be talking about for a long time.
