This week at Learning Ladder, our children brought the story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to life through a wonderful sensory adventure. Guided by an educator, the children explored a series of sensory tubs inspired by the different scenes in the book, encouraging them to use their senses as they stepped through each part of the journey.

As they squished, splashed, and discovered a variety of textures, the children strengthened their language, imagination, and sensory processing skills while building confidence through hands on exploration. It was a fun and engaging way to extend a much loved story and create meaningful learning experiences through play.
