"FOSTERING LOVE FOR CARE THROUGH MONTESSORI LEARNINGS"

Kindergarten

Learning Ladder Kindergarten program is run by Bachelor qualified kindergarten teacher.

As children reach this age they are engaging in co-operative play with their and start to hone their social skills through playing with each other.

Kindergarten room’s cater for children from 4 to 5 years of age and these room’s includes a government approved 4-year-old Kinder program delivered for over 600 hours per year by our Early Childhood Teacher.

Children spend time developing the skills they will require for school the following year. They engage in a wide range of experiences, both developed from the children’s interests as well as the educator’s goals for the children.

Our program is designed to prepare children for school socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. We run an indoor-outdoor program which provides ample time for the children to develop gross motor skills as well as having the choice about where they want to play.

With a focus on self-help skills we will help your child to develop the skills to become independent with their belongings, to dress themselves, personal hygiene and meal time etiquette. Your child will have the opportunity to form friendships and play together with children in group activities as well as participate in solitary experiences in the room.

Develop social skills through engaging children with positive interactions.

We work with children to learn how conversations work, social interactions and how to develop social skills by observing and participating in social situations. When children are engaged in engaging experiences that promote positive interactions and communication they can learn to advocate for their needs and nurture meaningful relationships with peers.

Learning happens everywhere.

Learning happens constantly, not just when children are sitting at a desk. Our Kindergarten curriculum embraces children’s natural dispositions for learning by using their interests and their skills to guide their education. We take into account each individual child and create projects and learning experiences that set them up to be active participants in their education.

Caring and warm environment

Along with high quality learning resources and facilities, our qualified childcare educators are well equipped and passionate to create responsive and respectful relationships with children and their families. We believe these positive relationships lay the foundation for exploration and discovery, giving children a safe ‘base’ to return to and share their experiences with.

“Before any great things are accomplished, a memorable change must be made in the system of education…to raise the lower ranks of society nearer to the higher.”
John Adams
